3 Tips when Booking a Limo. Pt 2

Updated: Nov 13, 2018

3 More tips to keep in mind when Booking a Limo! Part 2/3

  • Get a written confirmation Any serious limousine company will not only be glad to provide you with a written confirmation, they will insist to provide you with a confirmation of your reservation. At Daytona Limo you always get your unique confirmation number at the end of the booking, and a summary of your reservation details will be sent out to you with the confirmation email you receive from us.

  • Determine how much time you will need The most common was to rent a limousine is by the hour, and since you’re paying for the time, you want to make sure that you schedule for enough time that you’re not rushed, but still not more time than you will actually need. Many limousine companies have a minimum amount of hours that you can book for. While Daytona Limo offers the traditional hourly service as well, we also do transfers. If you for instance just want a glamorous ride to the airport, or an extra luxurious pick up after your Caribbean cruise, you shouldn’t have to pay for hours you won’t be using.

  • Make sure what is included When calling to ask for quotes, it might seem as though the prices for the same service varies a great deal, but in reality, competition is as steep as ever, and the majority of the limousine companies in any given area rarely vary more than 15% in price. Having said that, it is essential to note that not all companies will give you the grand total up front, but many will actually just give you the base rate, and then after you’ve already taken the ride, they add gratuity, tolls, parking, standard transportation charges, etc. amounting up to 40% extra in fees. At Daytona Limo, you can rest assured that you will always get both the base rate, and the all-inclusive rate, so that you know exactly how much you can expect to pay at the end of the trip. Certain occasions require that extra attention be paid, and this is typically the case when you book a limousine. Apart from the transportation itself, there are as many needs as there are passengers, and at Daytona Limo we will happily do our outmost to cater to your every need. Also, while Florida law prohibits us from putting any alcohol in the vehicle, we do (upon request) provide ice, water, soda, crystal glassware, and napkins.
